Today, 16^th May, at 18h20 BST, Jupiter, planet of confidence, abundance and expansion, moves into Taurus. Jupiter takes 12 years to transit the Zodiac and offers opportunity in the area of your life it is passing through.  For next few months it will be expressed through the stability and rootedness of Taurus with its financial acumen and love of nature. The consistency of this sign makes this a good time for consolidation. 

Jupiter will stay in Taurus until May 2024 and its journey includes a long autumn retrograde across the middle degrees of the sign from 5 -15 degrees Taurus, exactly mirroring the Mercury retrograde. This emphasis on these degrees is unusual and if you have planets in this section of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius you may expect opportunities for growth as the year progresses. 

In Taurus, Jupiter promotes a measured and productive life in a tangible and sensual world. It can be possessive and may be inclined to accumulate financial resources to ensure its security. It speaks of the simple pleasures of a life well-lived and appreciates the basics; secure shelter, warmth and good food.
