Pluto moves back into Capricorn on Sunday, 11th June at 10.45 BST

After a brief taste of Pluto in the realm of Aquarian idealism the heavy-weight Lord of the Underworld returns to considerations of banking, finance, materialism, and the structures that underpin our consumer society.

Capricorn is about corporate power and careers in public life. If you work in these sectors, this move might stir up power issues in your job which leave you frustrated and angry. Especially as you thought you had left them behind.

It may find us all revisiting issues to do with property or finance, or back tracking on a decision we thought was a done deal. It might manifest as tedious delaying tactics on something we understood was ready to move forward.

The area of impact depends on where Capricorn falls in the birth chart. Either way, there will probably be more ‘stuff’ to be dredged up and let go of before you are finally able to move on.

With Capricorn currently ruled by Saturn in Pisces there could be an emotional impact too, characterised perhaps, by feelings of anger bubbling up from Plutonian depths which you feel you need to try to contain and put boundaries around. It’s all part of Pluto’s transformational process.

Despite the general heaviness and tangible frustration, a moment of positivity occurs with a flowing aspect from Mercury just as Pluto lands in Capricorn on Sunday morning. This suggests a sudden profound insight or an important communication. Perhaps something you had been waiting on for a while.

This retrograde lasts util 11th October and reaches 27deg 53’ Capricorn. All those with planets and angles in the final degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Capricorn) and the early degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Aquarius) will feel it’s pressure. Mutables (Gemini, Virgo, Pisces) may get an energy boost! And even then it’s not quite over. Pluto’s dance between the two wintery signs won’t conclude until November 2024 when it enters Aquarius to stay until 2043.
