Sun enters Leo at 02.50 BST, 23rd July 2023

Just minutes after Venus turns retrograde in Leo, the Sun enters. Leo is a Fixed Fire sign and Sun Leos are generous and big-hearted, illuminating everything and everyone with their warmth and light. Except, of course, those unfortunate enough to be standing in their shadow.

Leo season is a time for self-expression, creativity, honour and loyalty. Be creative but with Venus now retrograde here, do it thoughtfully, making sure that what you do or create has meaning and value.

Leo is a sign of luxury but again, with Venus retrograde in this sign we are perhaps being asked to consider what we actually need.
