Mercury turns Direct at 8 deg Virgo at 21h21 BST

This New Moon is beginning of a new Virgo cycle which will culminate with the Virgo Full Moon around the same degree on 15 March 2025. Pay attention to what may be beginning in the Virgo area of your chart. Health, books, gardens and harvest, pets, caring for others and general organisation and management are all Virgo themes. You may expect these to expand until that date and then begin to move away.

One of Virgo’s key motivations is striving to offer practical solutions to the everyday problems. And, together with its opposite sign of Pisces, working conscientiously to alleviate suffering.

Virgo knows that an act of kindness ripples outwards in ever increasing circles. Without kind and sensible Virgo attending to the detail, the nitty gritty of our daily lives would be so much less bearable. This sign doesn’t have the expansiveness of the Fire signs or the clever detachment of Air but they are fundamental to our life on this earth.

Today begins a new cycle of attending to that detail, making practical, caring decisions and initiating new beginnings which will improve our material existence. And, as always with new cycles, something must be left behind in order to move on.
