Partially eclipsed Full Moon at 5 deg 09’ Taurus on 21h24 BST
This eclipse is about attachment and letting go. It’s about what we hold and claim as ours versus what we share and allow to change us.
If you have planets or angles around 5 degrees of the fixed signs – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius – then you may be more than usually affected by the powerful eclipse energy. In addition to the opposition of the Sun and Moon, this eclipse brings a challenging aspect between Mars/Mercury in Scorpio and Jupiter in Taurus. The planet of driving energy is teaming up with the planet of communication and opposing our planet of faith and expansion in the sign of land and material possessions.
Like everyone else the planets are taking sides and forming an opposition. These are Fixed signs and not easy to shift.
Venus hovers to the side in capable, but slightly anxious, Virgo, doing her best to create order in the chaos. She rules the Taurus Moon and Jupiter and is working tirelessly to find practical solutions that work in the real world.
She’s ruled by Mercury and favours communication and management as a route to compromise.
The Taurus/Scorpio axis is about stability versus transformation; the placid, sensual, stable nature of Venus-ruled Taurus is opposed to the more hidden, passionate and penetrating energy of Mars/Pluto-ruled Scorpio. Taurus is about your experience in the material world, Scorpio is about digging deeper to explore the foundations, and excavate what lies beneath.
Taurus builds and Scorpio tears down to rebuild. The challenge is to find a way to integrate them.
There is something here too about what is mine and what is shared; my values, money, stuff versus what we hold together. What is it we are fighting about?
The Full Moon takes us back to our roots, to our instinctive, basic urges, and it’s partially hidden, not revealing it’s hand. The Sun is our conscious energy asking us to transform, but to do it strategically. There are things to be thought through. In Scorpio, as in Taurus, patience and tenacity will be key. This is a waiting game.
This is the final eclipse in the Taurus/Scorpio cycle which began in November 2021 and continued in April, May, October and November 2022 and May 2023. Think back to what might have been happening around these dates. What process began back then that may now be coming to a conclusion?

King Charles III was born close to a full Moon eclipse across the Taurus Scorpio axis and was crowned in May during this eclipse cycle when the Nodes were at 4 degrees Taurus/Scorpio. This Full Moon falls across his natal nodal axis, actually in the 3rd and 9th houses, but on the cusp of the 4th/10th, squaring his Ascendant/Descendant. The eclipses pull in his natal Mercury which rules the 11th house of the collective.
This eclipse may feel like a key moment for him and for his leadership as he weighs his responsibility to society with his ideals and his values of peace and beauty (Neptune/Venus Libra) and his profound powerlessness and anxiety as Uranus tracks back in opposition to his natal Scorpio Sun and Pluto sextiles natal Chiron in 4th, activating wounds around family, ancestors and his Solar role.
