Venus enters Scorpio on 4th December 2023 at 18h51 UT
In Scorpio the feminine principle becomes more mysterious and hidden, more emotional, more tenacious and loyal, more possessive, more sensitive and more deeply reflective. In Scorpio she is much harder to get to know.
She is far from at home in this receptive, Fixed, Water sign, and may find it difficult to express her naturally sociable nature and her glossy, civilised side. Nevertheless, she knows what she wants and will make sure she gets it. Her values are profoundly held and she isn’t easily swayed. In Scorpio she’s not interested in peace deals or compromise. She’s in it to win it; she’ll stay the course and won’t ever consider turning back.
There is a stubborn bravery to Venus in Scorpio which can be both passionate and vengeful. She’s unfazed by the deeper, messier aspects of relationship and, like Persephone, will descend into hell if she must. Once committed she loves truly, madly and deeply, is profoundly loyal and liable to be mortally wounded if abandoned. Yet, despite everything, she has the ability to drag herself up from the depths and to re-emerge Phoenix-like from the ashes of her old self to live and love again.
Venus is Scorpio is the best friend who wants your bond forged in blood. She’ll have your back for all eternity but don’t ever cross her or take her affections lightly. She is deeply invested in all relationships – if you’re not in it for the long haul, why would you even bother?
Today, as Venus dips her toes into the deep waters of Scorpio, her first encounter is a flowing aspect to Saturn in Pisces which may help give structure to her sensitivity and imagination and offer boundaries and practical certainty to her emotions. This encounter with Saturn may help her feel contained and safe, allowing her space to be her rather wonderful self.
