Full Moon at 5deg 14’ Leo on 25th January at 17h54 UT

This Full Moon in the sign of Fixed Fire is opposed by the Sun in friendly, team-oriented Aquarius. 

It’s a big, bright, emotional Moon which is all about expressing its uniqueness. 

The combination of polar opposites Leo and Aquarius means each individual expressing their own creativity and originality within the group situation and for the benefit of the group. 

However, the Aquarius Sun has just come through a transformative encounter with Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, and we may still be asking deep, existential questions. The Moon’s hopeful confidence is inspiring and gives us permission to shine.

The square aspect to Jupiter in Taurus shows the demands of the material world – of land, finance, the senses and our physical existence – and the challenge to expand, grow and to have faith in these things. We are challenged, in fact, to be optimistic.

As with all Full Moons, this is the culmination of a cycle. Following the contact with Pluto, we could be struggling with our identity and wondering ‘who even are we?’

This Full Moon is asking you to dig deep, to take careful stock of your material existence and to follow your heart.
