Full Moon at 4 deg 17′ Scorpio

Tonight’s Full Moon in Scorpio is emotional and transformational. The Sun and Moon in Fixed signs oppose each other across the sky and are challenged by Pluto in Aquarius. 

It’s a passionate and deeply invested combination, suggesting a struggle for possession, power and control.

Something is culminating. A decision may be necessary, especially if you have planets or angles around 4 degrees of the Fixed signs – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. It maybe to do with the Pluto in Aquarius energy which is steadily taking down and rebuilding our world.

This is a Full Moon that refuses to let us be what we have always been but insists on change of some kind. And there must be a conclusion or the release of something pent up and long held. Inevitably, something must be shed or discarded in the process. 

The challenge is to work out what we share with others or inherit from the past and to weigh it against our own personal values. The Sun encourages us to stand firm (Taurus) and to hold steady while the process of transformation takes place inside us and around us, because of us and despite of us. 

In the wake of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction with its inherent desire for freedom and change, this powerful lunation asks what we are clinging to and whether it’s worth it. Work with it or it will work with you. Remember, the barriers are only ever our own.
