Saturn turns Retrograde at 19deg 25’ Pisces at 20h15 BST on 29th June 2024

Our planet of structure and boundaries has been treading water in Pisces for the last few days as it prepares to turn and trek backwards from our viewpoint on the Earth.

If you have planets or angles around 18 – 20 degrees of any of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), OR Sun, Moon or angles in Saturn-ruled Capricorn or Aquarius. then this may be a frustrating, even emotionally painful, time.

When a planet stations, the activities it symbolises can slow down or even station with it. So maybe you feel that the dreams you been steadily building in your material world, the goals you have been aiming for, are losing momentum or suffering disappointing setbacks?

But, it may just be a pause, giving you time to regroup, rebuild and restructure.

Saturn stationing may indicate that a period of concentrated work has come to an end and it’s time to ease off, to recuperate and realign your goals to a new situation.

Is the ‘thing’ you are striving to build what you originally envisaged?

Saturn retrograde is a period of consolidation and integration.

This is a time to ‘re-imagine’ how you are going to move forward. Are the goals and ambitions you started out with still aligned with your dreams?

And, incidentally, Saturn rules bones and skin, the things that create the structure and containment for our bodies. Any health issues around these could now be put on hold or reach some kind of turning point.

The retrograde motion continues until 15 November 2024 when it turns direct at 12 deg 41’ Pisces. At this time we’ll begin to trek back over ground we’ve covered and start making real progress in February next year.
