The Moon has left its own sign where it was comfortable and is being asked to start afresh in the sign of the Sun. This is about discovering your own identity through creative self-expression in the area of your chart in which this New Moon falls. 

Remember the Lion in the Wizard of Oz? Leo is about the heart. It’s about authenticity. It’s asking you to be brave and step out there.

Leo’s innate faith and confidence give the self-belief to take you forward on this journey of self-discovery. There is a fragility, however, in any new seed. You may need to be encouraged from time to time and have your confidence bolstered to keep the new flame burning.

This New Moon is supported by Mars and Jupiter in Gemini. These planets are great at helping with communication and organisation, they are busy and sociable. 

The new beginnings nascent in this Moon may have their flowering around the Full Moon of 1^st Feb 2026, when Chiron too, will return to its current position (23 deg Aries) after its period retrograde. And then it will finally move on, allowing a new acceptance and lightness to enter the areas in your chart it has touched.
