Full Moon in Aquarius at 27deg 15’ Aquarius at 19h26 BST

A Full Moon in Aquarius signifies the oppposition between ideals and independence (Aquarius) and self-expression (Sun in Leo). A challenging aspect to Uranus in Taurus adds issues of radical change to our material security.
Security must be smashed for freedom and change to occur. The sympathetic connection between the Moon and Uranus means that it’s not as mad as it sounds.
This Full Moon is a call for freedom. The challenge is to fulfill our potential within the collective and embrace change and technology (Uranus) whilst staying true to ourselves (Leo) and our ideals (Aquarius). Something has to break here for the rebuilding to happen.
On an individual level there are other possibilities: the Moon also represents the body, our container on this planet. Aquarius can symbolise science, perhaps in the form of medicine. Maybe we are undergoing treatment for something?
Aquarius’ co-ruler Uranus is currently in Taurus, which is also about the body. The connection between Uranus and the Moon creates an understanding which will be helpful. This makes the choices less stark and much more workable.
If we are at the mercy of medical science, we need to find the courage to be honest with ourselves. This is the challenge. The Leo Sun is about our courage, our faith and our dignity. There is perhaps the need for an acknowledgement that we must leave the old version of ourselves behind in order to move on.
The Full Moon is a conclusion of something that has been building. Something must (always) be left behind to go forward. We need to find the courage to step off that cliff and trust that we will fly.
