From the concentrated, sensitive, self-absorbed, Yin energy of Scorpio we explode into the realm of Yang, Mutable Fire. 

Sagittarius’ symbol is the archer; a Centaur, half-man and half-horse, arrow primed in his bow. The person with the Sun in Sagittarius is on a quest for meaning. They are interested in the bigger picture, in the world – potentially the entire universe. Whatever is out there, they want to know about it. 

This sign rules studying and travel. The Sagittarius aims to expand their mind and experience other cultures. And their Mutable nature means they are prepared to be changed by them.

This year the first thing the Sun does is in Sagittarius is make a positive connection with Pluto, newly in the futuristic sign of Aquarius. So, we might find a powerful vibe of energy for positive, meaningful change on 21st and 22nd November (we can hope). 

On a personal level, this could be an opportunity to harness something that will take us forward positively into the winter months and keep us feeling optimistic through the Mercury retrograde that begins on 25th.
