Saturn is about boundaries, rules and restrictions. It is also about taking things seriously and taking responsibility. It is also about fear.

Aries is about the quest and the conquest. It is about drive, self-determination and about war. Ruler Mars is in Leo which is fiery, inspirational and very difficult to shift. Leo likes to express itself.

Leo can also be fragile, it needs a stage. The fire needs feeding. 

The world is currently in turmoil so what does Saturn’s ingress symbolise?

That somehow restrictions will be put on those who are intent on expressing themselves through war?

Or that war will become very serious as people try to put boundaries and restrictions around those intent on expressing themselves through war?

Probably both. There is no more room for being wishy-washy.  This is now about strategy.

On Saturday, the Gemini Sun is empowered by Pluto. There are some powerful Sun Geminis around. One is leading the USA. So is this actually a good thing. We’ll see…

For all of us this shift is about putting boundaries and structures around our goals. All those things we were dreaming of and hoping for in the last months as Saturn made his way through the last degrees of Pisces, must now be acted upon if they are going to materialise.

Perhaps we can’t do all the things we wished in quite the way we hoped – there may be limits and restrictions – but we can begin to make concrete plans.

We may have to revise a few things as the year progresses. Both Saturn and Neptune return to Pisces later in 2025 for a period of revision and re-envisioning. But still, this is the beginning.

Though you might want to wait until the New Moon on Tuesday before you physically take the first steps, or write the first email.

Look ahead positively to 20th February 2026 when Saturn (material reality) and Neptune (dreams) come together in Aries for a momentous conjunction, and write down how you want this to look. Set your intention and hold it fast.
