An emotional Full Moon that forces us to dig to deeply and decide what is really in our best interests.

When the Moon is full in Scorpio the Sun is across the sky in Taurus. This is the Axis of Exchange. It’s about balancing physical, material (Taurus) and emotional (Scorpio) resources. It speaks of what we hold onto emotionally and physically. 

It may concern finances, inheritance or our physical bodies. It may speak to worn-out emotions and attachments that we cling to like comfort blankets. Versions of ourselves that no longer serve us and need to be rejuvenated. 

Taurus, ruled by Venus, gathers things up and holds them close. Being financially secure in the material world is important to this sign. It likes to know where the next meal and hot shower are coming from, and it usually has something put aside for a rainy day.

Scorpio becomes attached on an emotional level. It loves truly, madly and deeply, until it burns it its own powerful fire and is renewed. In relationships, jealousy can be an issue…

Scorpio purges and cleanses. Planets here push us to leave our comfort zone in the interests of renewal and rejuvenation. Scorpio ensures that we do not stagnate but must reinvent ourselves – over and over again. 

This is a Fixed axis and finding balance is not easy, both sides tend to dig in and hold fast. 

So, as this cycle reaches its culmination we must ask ourselves, is there something important to us that we need to release on this Full Moon? Is there something we must ‘shed’ in order to move forward to the next phase? Something we are deeply attached to, perhaps? A thing, an idea, a relationship, a way of living… The clue will be in the house that Scorpio falls into in your personal birth chart.

In lunar family theory, this Full Moon is linked to the New Moon of 1^st November 2024. Did something begin back then that is coming to its culmination now?

Mercury is with Chiron so this might not be easy. But with Moon ruler Mars in Aries, we have the Will and the energy to plough forward. 

This is the first lunation with Uranus in Gemini. Change is inevitable, but we still have some agency. There are choices to make.
