Full Moon at 6 deg30’ Aquarius, 15h36 BST on 29th July 2026

The Full Moon shines across the sky from the Sun and Jupiter which sit together at 6 degrees Aquarius. This is a watershed, a crossroads, a yes or no moment. The desire for freedom is strong and the Full Moon brings drama and perhaps the need for a decision.

We may need to let go of an older version of ourselves and realign ourselves with a new vision of how things might be. It could be good. It will almost certainly be different.

The Leo/Aquarius axis is in the spotlight right now. The Nodal Axis of destiny shifted into these signs on 27^th July, turning our collective gaze towards the future.

Leo and Aquarius are about the individual (Leo) within the wider collective (Aquarius). Leo is warm, exuberant and expressive. Aquarius is more detached and thoughtful and uber-rational.

Leo steps forward and takes the stage, leading from the heart, inspiring those around it.

Aquarius prefers to stand back, out of the sun. It works for the team yet is quirky, futuristic and independent.

Aquarius is a space adventure. Leo is Shakespearean drama.

Together, Leo and Aquarius ask how we, the separate people, show up in the group. What do we bring to the barbecue? Halloumi cheese? A great salad? Maybe we provide the music? Or perhaps we’re in the kitchen, helping to stack the dirty plates?

The challenge here – as always – is balance. How do we honour our unique gifts and the essence of who we are while putting them in service of the wider whole? Working out how and where we fit in is often the task of a lifetime. Acknowledging that we are part of society doesn’t mean that we don’t shine; perhaps it changes why we shine.

And perhaps understanding this is what gives us permission to shine.

This Full Moon is the culmination of a sequence which begins a few hours earlier. First, the Moon joins with Pluto in Aquarius and makes a harmonious alignment with Uranus and Neptune. There is a sense of a personal connection to a wider story here, perhaps there are decisions, actions, conversations that relate to us but over which we have little control and can only respond.

How we respond is up to us. Remembering this is helpful.

The Moon leaves Pluto as the Sun arrives at Jupiter, bringing individual self-expression into the spotlight.

Meaning emerges through owning and expressing our unique gifts and creativity, acknowledging who and what we truly are – and having the courage to let others see it too. What are we bringing to the group?

The answer can be quite simple, (and is no less important for that). A gift for listening, perhaps? The ability to make friends and create community and connection between people? A gift for teaching or working with wood? Each one of us is unique and has a nugget of something very special that is ours alone. That is why we are here.

There will be tension in all this and the need to let go to some possibly cherished but outworn versions of ourselves. Part of us may be clinging to the past, knowing we need to adapt and wondering if we can.

The future doesn’t wait. It comes whether we are ready or not. So on this Full Moon we need to wonder aloud where our path truly lies, and then turn all of ourselves to meet it.
